We’ve all inherited stories and belief systems about how we are expected to act and operate. Sometimes, these stories inspire us to feel at-home within ourselves, operate with integrity, and enjoy the pleasures of life. Other times, these stories get in the way of doing just that.
I work from a systems perspective, which includes naming the ways the systems we participate in impact us individually and in our relationships. Developing this awareness can bring up a sense of sadness or loss for people, so I prioritize holding space for the body’s natural grieving processes and believe in moving through it at a pace that allows one’s nervous system to feel safe.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to encourage new ways of understanding oneself and their relationships. In working with me, clients can expect an opportunity to slow down enough to be with the subtle cues of their bodies and connect with themselves and those they love. As an ENM-, kink-, LGBTQ+-, sex work-affirming, and anti-racist therapist, my goal is to offer a space for clients to show up as they are, in their entirety, and allow their nervous systems to rest.
In my free time I love to move my body in ways that bring me joy, spend time outside, cook nourishing meals, and enjoy a slow morning with a good book and a delicious cup of coffee. I find great pleasure in the gifts of community and consider myself very community-oriented.
I look forward to working with you!
